The kiosks will get opened up in a phased manner starting with the Blue and Purple Line stations, said an IRCTC official.

The main hall mark of the IRCTC kiosks will be its hygiene factor. Packaged food items including packed samosas, rolls and burgers will be made available to the passengers. Microwave compatible sealed trays of food delicacies including ‘kadi chawal’, ‘chana chawal’ and ‘rajma chawal’ will be served to the passengers.

The kiosks have also been certified by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), the IRCTC officials said. More than twelve such kiosks are expected to get opened up within this month, while the rest will get opened up soon.
