  • Prescription of the Economic Survey  was ignored, which had projected the share of India’s realty industry to grow from 5 percent to 6 percent.
  • No concrete measures have been taken in the Budget to address various issues faced by the realty industry such as high property prices, liquidity crunch, costly debt, low business sentiment and others.
  • The budget also does not do anything for the high home loan rates which are keeping the common man from taking loans and buying new apartments.
