Parle Aims To Hold 25% Of The Snacks market

Biscuits and Confectionary major player, Parle Products is aiming to gain 25% of their market share till March 2014, a top official of the company informed it to the media.

“We are trying our level best and putting all our efforts to enhance our market share. It will add a bright feather in our crown of success and will enhance our net income and profit,” Parle Products Group Product Manager, B Krishna Rao said it on Monday.

 He also informed that Parle Products is the India’s largest biscuit maker with 45% of the market and holding 8% of the snacks market. The Parle Products is a company of about Rs. 7,500 and is growing 0% annually.

This company is currently running other brands like, Wafers, Full Toss and Namkeen among its snacks segment. Rao also added that, “We have just introduced Namkeen in Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgrah and Manarashtra for testing the markets.”
