The agreement states that Wipro will help the banks to implement core banking solutions and act as a facilitator or care taker. This agreement will be valid for 5 years and will be obligatory until December 31st of 2017. It is hoped that this idea will make credit delivery of different banks easier and faster.

NABARD also stated that expectations have raised on this very idea that transfer of data to CBS (core banking solutions) model in these banks will start very soon and all these banking domains are presumed to be on CBS platform in one year.
