Nestle to buy Pfizer’s Infant Nutrition Business For Rs. 61,900 Crores

Nestle and Pfizer Inc are both known companies in India and recently, these companies have been in a deal where nestle buying Pfizer’s infant nutrition. Nestle had decided to purchase the infant nutrition business of Pfizer in a value amounting to $11.85 billion.

This move was made in order to strengthen the position of Nestle in the global infant nutrition market. It is definitely a wise move for nestle since the business that they are planning to buy generates their sales in emerging markets and these are in fast-growing population.

The CEO of Nestle, Mr Paul Bulcke said that this strategy is to tighten their position in becoming one of the world’s leading nutrition, health and wellness company. The combination of the two companies will surely offer people with a lot of choices when it comes to nutritious foods for kids.
