It is heard that the company cited reasons like lack of potential skill shortage in the country to move such jobs to India over next two years. An official letter from the senator to the company summaries that Diebold should look to explore other options to keep jobs for the state itself.

To add about the company, Diebold was founded in 1859 with Canton as headquarters. Currently, it is operative in more than 90 countries and has more than 15, 000 employees. Diebold is a world leader in security products, customer service and self-service transaction systems.

Seems like government is becoming stricter on Outsourcing!
