Oriental Bank of Commerce Removes NEFT Service Charges On Upto Rs. 1 Lakh Transactions

A good decision by the Oriental Bank of Commerce comes with getting rid of the service charges on all NEFT payments up to Rs 1 lakh on all its branches. This is definitely good news for their clients and will also encourage customers to adopt electronic mode whenever they do some payments.

Today, with the NEFT scheme, banks are entitled to charge up to Rs 5 from the remitter. With this scheme, companies, individuals and corporate can now transfer fund from any bank branch in the country which also participates in the scheme. Good news for the customers of OBC is their lower service change.

The remitter is charge Rs 15 previously, but now, they will only be charge Rs 10 said Mr Bansal. Still, the company will be charging outward remittances in an amount of Rs 25. Among the good thing with NEFT is that you can now transfer money electronically. There will be no need for you to physically send a cheque to your beneficiary.
