The state-run Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd had successfully gotten a contract worth Rs 1143 from NTPC. The said company got the contract for supply and installation of the main plant package for a thermal project in Madhya Pradesh.
The plant will have a 500 mw power generating unit. In a statement given by the company, they have already supplied around 86 numbers of 500 mw thermal sets in the country so far. This plant project is expected to become India’s largest power generating station.
The works that BHEL is contracted to do is engineering, design, manufacture, erection and supply. They would also work for commissioning of stream generator and steam turbine generator along with its controls.
This is definitely another good fiscal year for the company with the projects that they are getting from government and non-government institutions. A lot of employees would surely benefit from this especially when expansions of the company would happen.
