Internet Biggies & Banks Join Hands To Address Frauds & Scams

Online scams and spams have increased a lot. Government, along with many worlds’ biggest internet companies and financial firms have decided and developed a new strategy to fight email spams and online scams.

Internet companies like Facebook, Google Inc and Microsoft Corp and financial corporations like Bank of America Corp, Fidelity Investments and eBay Inc’s PayPal have joined along with government to make internet more secured and apt.

A new set of industry standards are to be implemented along with two email authentication technologies known as SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) are to be adopted. The group that developed these new standards is called DMARC.org which stands for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance.

Expectations have been made that these two softwares would help email providers and businesses to recognize and attack spammers by coordinating with each other on a huge extent.

Though cyber spammers would ultimately figure out how to break this security wall, it would protect companies for a respectable period of time.
