Amul Targets Rs. 30,000 Crore Revenue In the next 7 years

Amul brand which is sold by Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) has been doing well when it comes to its dairy business. For the last five years, they have gain constant growth in their sales and business as a whole.

Even with this success, they are still aiming to double this growth in the next 7 years where they expect to have a turnover at Rs 30,000 crore.

For the record, the company had a turnover of Rs 11,668 crore for the last fiscal year displaying a growth of about 19 per cent. This current fiscal year, they are still aiming to increase this number to about Rs 14,400 crore. Among the reasons why this brand has been doing well in the market is the company’s expansion project.

To date, the company has about 6,315 Amul outlets where 965 of this were added during the last fiscal year. For the current fiscal, they are aiming to about 1,000 more outlets across the country.
