The first ever women-centric plan called “Smart Woman” plan was launched by the Private insurer HDFC Life. Since they know that this would definitely attract the public, they are now planning to launched around 3-4 more of such plans of the current fiscal.
With the name of the plan, it shows that the company is trying to target women and the age of these women range from 18-45 who are working in the urban areas.
This information was given by HDFC Life’s Marketing Head, Mr. Sanjay Tripathy. The company is now starting to roll out this plan to a few cities and is slowly moving from one city to another. They are very much hopeful to the success of this venture especially since it is targeted for the benefit also of women and not only for the good on the insurance company.
The good thing with this plan for women is that it is directed towards meeting the needs and financial goals of women. It is embroidered to give the program a unique platform offering benefits in their critical life stage.
