Currently, the company has a plantation where they produce their towers at Halol which is near Vadodara. This production plant has the capacity to produce 500 towers a year. The site where the expansion plans would become a realization is yet to be determined.

The news says that this will be customer-centric. There are now a lot of companies that contact Windar in order to facilitate the production of their tubular towers. For those who do not have the idea yet, an average tower would weigh about 150 tonnes and the cost of this would be Rs 1.5 crore. It will have the capacity to produce 1.8 megawatt of wind power.
