The Reliance retail will now be offering chilled and frozen foods to their grocery and food outlets. This is with the back-end joint venture that they had with 2 Sisters Food Group which is a UK-based meat processing company. This company is owned by Ranjit Singh and he is planning to invest Rs 7,000 crore for his Indian market with a quick service restaurant chain.
The name of the restaurant will be ‘Chicken Came First’. The company had mentioned that they will be offering their clients with innovative food preparations. They would also provide a multiple options for clients as to what food they wanted to eat. Using state of the art materials would be their advantage since this is what people are looking for.
A statement of the reliance retain spokesperson emphasizes that they are doing their best in making sure that they are able to address the needs of the Indian market when it some to food innovation, technology and manufacturing.
