4,000 MW Reliance Power Sasan plant now Connected to India’s National Grid

In a statement given by Anil Ambani, the 4,000 MW Sasan Ultra Mega power project in Madhaya Pradesh by Reliance Power has been connected to the national grid. In the addition, the project could not draw power from the national grid for it to provide power for the first 660 MW units which would be completed soon.

This could also enable evacuation of the power to other seven states from the Sasan UMPP. There is a coal production that is already been allotted for the project and this would be from the 20 million tones Moher and Moher-Amlohri coal mines.

For this project, there is a need to produce 20 million tons of coal mines from Moher and Moher-Amlochri. Most of the power plant projects done by Reliance Power are those that are based on coal, hydro, gas and renewable energy. Currently, the company is into developing their business in Indonesia where they are working on three coal mines.
