Emami Looking To 3x Sales From Pain Relief Ointment – Targets Rs. 100 Cr.

Emami Ltd is quite confident that they would be growing their sales. This is with the re-launched of their pain relief ointment with new formulations. They are aiming for a nearly three-fold increase in their sales. The name of the product is ‘Himani Fast Relief’. This expectation is expected to occur in three years where they target an Rs 100 crore in sales from the said category.

Today, the company is earning about Rs 35 crore with the pain relief ointment. In the next two years, they are expecting to increase their sales with new formulation and also intensifying the marketing of their product.

Marketing is really important for it will let people know that the product exists. With the right marketing strategy and the effectiveness of the product, surely, the company is not away from fulfilling their goal of increasing their sales. For the record, the ointment market in India is estimated to be at Rs 350 crore.
