Day Care Clinics In India To Attract Hot Investments

We all know that among the constant need of people today is health care. This is among the reasons why the healthcare business this year is expected to be gaining a lot of investments from different entities like private equity firms. The need for this type of business will always be there.

People could never live without health care services in their environment. Two big companies had recently invested Rs 300 crore in ambulatory or short-stay surgery provider Nova Specialty Surgery. These companies are namely, Goldman Sachs Groups which is a private equity arm considered as the fifth-biggest US bank by assets and also New Enterprise Associates which is a venture capital firm.

Another investment for the healthcare sector is from a Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC where it acquired a stake in Vasan Health care with an investment of about $100 million. Also, Delhi-based eye-care chain center for Sight is in negotiations for an investment of about Rs 150 crore.
