New brand positioning for Jubilant FoodWorks; 3% Rise In Pizza Prices

Domino in India had said that it would again increase the price of their product by 2-3% starting November. The company is known for selling American pizza. This increase would be their 2nd prince hike for the fiscal year. The company had a price hike in June this year that took the prices up by 3%.

Though this is not quite an easy decision for the company, they need to do it in order to address inflationary pressures in the market. The company is now having its focus on a new brand positioning where they are planning to make their position in the market more neutral and in line with the companies objectives.

They aim to have equal focus on delivery and dine-in restaurants. According to a certain report, the effect of this price increase in the company would be visible in the succeeding fiscal year.  With regards to their performance, the company had hired about 3,000-4,000 employees this fiscal year and had added around 100 domino branches.
