Sometimes you may have a complaint against a listed company/ intermediary registered with SEBI. Now, you can lodge all your complaints related to issue and transfer of securities and non-payment of dividend with listed companies with SEBI.
The Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has launched a centralized web based complaints redress system (SCORES) to look into investors complaints. SCORES has been developed by National Informatics Centre, Government of India to receive complaints from investors, redress such complaints and report redressal. It would facilitate easy retrieval and tracking of complaints at any time.
To lodge a complaint online, investor just needs to visit the website http://scores.gov.in and click on “Complaint Registration” under “Investor Corner”and lodge their complaints.
Investors can register their complaints by filling an online form on the website. On successful submission of complaint, a unique registration number will be provided to the investor for future correspondence. You can even view the status of your complaint on the website, on this page scores.gov.in/ViewStatus.aspx.
