Hiring To Grow In Small Cities In The First Half Of 2012: Survey

According to a survey, the semi-urban and mini-metros are developing during the first half of 2012, as the recruitment rate is growing in engineering and manufacturing. This survey is suspecting that the recruitment has been rising because of the website MyHiringClub.com where many people are getting job. It is expected to reach the hiring activities to 11% from January to June 2012.

About 8% growth has been observed in the Tier III cities like, Jaipur, Ghaziabad and Kochin during the first half of the year. Now-a-days, tier II and tier III cities are also gaining huge publicity because of the cost effectiveness in the metro cities.

Pune and Chandigarh will contribute 26% of total recruitment done in this year. Followed by Ahmedabad (22%), Lucknow (21%) and Jaipur (18%). This survey was conducted among 12 sectors, healthcare, infrastructure, hospitality, real estate and construction, BFSI, IT and ITeS, training and consulting, FMCG, telecom, automobile) in 112 cities of the nation.
