According to the Student Placement Cell of IIM-C, this year it was anticipated that there will be a downfall in getting the offers from the companies. An officer of the Student Placement Cell said that, “Very few finance and banking companies have approached. But the offers made for the marketing and consulting companies are comparatively good.”

Out of 355 students of the final year, 95 students have already got placed on the basis of their brilliant performance in different companies during their summer internships and projects. Consulting firms which are offering jobs are McKinsey, BCG, Bain & Co., and AT Kearney. Microsoft recruited some students from IIM-C for their offices in Redmond, USA.

Slot zero also observed placement offers from the companies like, ITC, Kraft Food, Proctor and Gamble, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., etc.
