Hyderabad Angels has invested Rs. 2 crore in Mumbai based Green India Building Systems and Services Private Limited for a round of series of network. However, the press statement did not disclose the utilization of the funds produced by GIBSS, or the stake hold by angel network in the company, which provides energy-efficient geothermal, hot water co-generation and lighting systems.

“We will be helping GIBSS monetarily along with continuous mentoring for unequal business growth,” said Sashi Reddi, founder of SRI Capital Fund and the lead investor from Hyderabad Angels Network.

Hyderabad Angels is a city-based company which has high-net worth individuals with a specific investment focus on early-stage companies, and is backed by The Indus Entrepreneur. In March 2011, the company had invested a similar amount in custom RFID manufacturing firm Identis Technologies.
